Ashlee had the unique opportunity of collecting Basalt rocks from the rugged beaches of California's North Coast; she thoroughly enjoys sharing the healing properties of these silky smooth rocks with her clients and cordially invites you to experience this deeply relaxing treatment. In February, Ashlee traveled to Belize where she studied Traditional Mayan Abdominal Massage with Dr. Rosita Arvigo. This type of massage guides internal abdominal organs into their proper position for optimum health and well-being. For more information on this modality and to view a list of symptoms relieved by this treatment please visit either the arvigomassage.com website or Ashlee's personal website at sweetthyme.net.  Before embracing her love for bodywork, Ashlee studied Italian and Anthropology at the University of Oregon and worked for an outdoor therapeutic program for troubled teens in Utah. Ashlee is glad to be back with her roots in Lawrence, Kansas and feels honored to be a part of the talented team of therapists here at Bodyworks. Ashlee is versed in a variety of modalities, and is consistent in providing her clients with treatments tailored to their personal needs. Ashlee takes pride in her ability in finding and treating those relentless tough spots, which are often times the cause of chronic pain and general discomfort.  Ashlee looks forward to working with you in restoring your body's natural balance and hopes to be able to help you gain a better awareness of your body's full potential.
