| Risa Petty Risa is a certified in clinical and neuromuscular therapy. She has additional training in geriatric massage. Risa believes we are all athletes, whether the event is getting out of bed or running a marathon. Life's daily activities can lead to chronic tension in the muscles and increased demands can lead to injury, Risa is trained to assist in recovery from either condition. Her interest in the body began as a member of the women's rowing team at KU. After completing her rowing eligiibility she served as a graduate assistant in the strength and conditioning department working with athletes to improve performance. After a few years out of state Risa has returned to Lawrence and is excited to be at bodyworks downtown doing massage therapy. |
