Our History
After building her private practice for four years, Kristii Adrian founded bodyworks downtown, inc. in April of 2000. She is a graduate of the Massage Therapy Training Institute, KCMO, and is a registered doula with the Academy of Birth Educators & Labor Support Professionals of Olathe, KS. She is a registered massage practitioner with the International Massage Association and is a certified Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage.
Before realizing her true passion was massage therapy, Kristii studied at the University of Kansas, attended culinary school, performed with Flipper at the Miami Seaquarium and was a professional bungee jumper. Kristii owns and operates Bodyworks Lawrence and calls upon a network of specialized massage therapists as needed.
